DESCRIPTION:

When using Windows Media Player, Beyond Music Basic, or Beyond Video Basic, fast forward and rewind functions do not work.

ARTICLE:

There is no solution to this problem; Windows Media Player is unable to fast-forward or rewind in certain media types, and Beyond Video Basic / Music Basic both use the same method to play back media.
