IR-200L no longer officially supported for use with Beyond TV

DESCRIPTION: In-house testing has shown that the Actisys IR200L IR Blaster works well with many satellite receivers and cable boxes, but not at all with others. Therefore, we will not provide support configuring the Actisys IR200L with any external receiver. We are, however, providing the following information as guidance for using the IR Blaster with Beyond TV.
We know the Actisys IR200L will not tune the following receivers properly:
The current design of the Actisys IR200L hasn't been updated for compatiblity with the technology in the newest cable and satellite tuners. It specifically has trouble learning the remote signals for these newer devices. When it has trouble learning these signals, it will exhibit one of two symptoms:
Some Beyond TV users have been able to tune the receivers noted above using HEREMOTE. This software is available from tvscheduler.net (The website is no longer available as of December 10, 2010). Open Source Code Beyond TV uses with the Actisys IR200L: The link below is a zip file containing the Visual Studio .dll that Beyond TV uses to change channels on external receivers using the IR Blaster. SSirtuner.zip (5 KB) SnapStream is providing this file for users or developers who would like to modify this code to resolve the particular issue they are encountering and replace "SSirtuner.dll" in the following directory:
