DESCRIPTION:

A list of command-line options for Enterprise TV Link. Insert these options at the end of the "Target" field of the Link client shortcut's Properties menu.

ARTICLE:

The most useful command-line options are used to connect to a TV server. They are:

/networkclient:[server name] Connects directly to the server with the indicated name.
/networkclient:[IPaddress] Connects directly to the server with the indicated IP address.
/networkclientport:[port number] Connects directly to the server on the specified port.
/networkclientusername:[username] Sends the indicated username to the server.
/networkclientpassword:[password] Sends the indicated password to the server.

Notes:
  • The default option, /networkclient:true, should be deleted before adding any of these options.
  • The port, username and password options have no function when used without either the IP address or server name options.
  • The password option has no function when used without the username option.
For example, the Target entry used to connect to server 192.168.1.107 on port 8129 with the username "daniel" and the password "snapstream" would look like:

"C:\Program Files\SnapStream Media\Enterprise TV Link\BTVD3DShell.exe" /networkclient:192.168.1.107 /networkclientport:8129 /networkclientusername:daniel /networkclientpassword:snapstream

Other command-line options include:

/startscreen:[home/ tv / livetv / library / guide / jobs / recordings]
