System requirements for SnapStream Enterprise TV Link client software.

Analog TV from cable or satellite:
  • Microsoft Windows 7, Vista, XP Home, XP Professional 2000
  • DirectX 9.0 or greater
  • Processor: Pentium, Celeron or AMD Athlon at 700mhz and above. Recommended: Pentium, Celeron or AMD Athlon at 1.5ghz and above
  • 192 MB RAM
  • Video Card: nVidia GeForce 2 and above, ATI Graphics Radeon 7500 and above, others with 16 MB RAM, 3D Acceleration, DirectX 9.0 compatibility
  • 1 GB Hard Drive
  • Network Connection to Server: 100Mb LAN or 802.11a or 802.11g Wireless

ATSC or QAM:
  • Microsoft Windows 7, Vista, XP Home, XP Professional 2000
  • DirectX 9.0 or greater
  • Processor: Pentium or AMD Athlon processor at 1.7 GHz or higher
  • 512 MB RAM
  • Video Card: ATI Radeon 9550 or NVIDIA GeForce FX 5200 or Higher
  • 1 GB Hard Drive
  • Network Connection to Server: 1Gb LAN or 802.11a or 802.11g Wireless

While the SnapStream Link client supports Windows XP Media Center Edition, some extra steps are required to make it work. 

Snapstream does not support 64-bit operating systems.

Certain video cards are not compatible with Link client software. Please see the Incompatible Video Cards document in the SnapStream Knowledge Base for more information.
