"No sound card" error in Warnings area or e-mail alert

DESCRIPTION: After a Remote Desktop session on an Enterprise TV Server, the following error will appear, either in the Warnings area or in an alert e-mail:Error Code: 34 Enterprise TV did not detect a sound card on this system. A sound card is required to both playback and record video. Please verify that your sound card and your sound card drivers are installed correctly. ARTICLE: This is a known issue that results from the way Remote Desktop uses the system's sound drivers. When a Remote Desktop session is started, this error can be avoided by selecting Options=> Local Resources=> Remote Computer Sound=> Leave at Remote Computer.Contrary to the text of the error, recordings are not affected in any way by this issue. | |
