DESCRIPTION: In version 4.8.2 or later of Enterprise TV Link, the Burn to DVD option is not available, even though DVD burning is enabled.ARTICLE: This is a result of the implementation of DVD Burner detection in version 4.8.2. Enterprise TV Link checks for a DVD burner, and if no burner is present, the Burn to DVD icon is removed. However, some users have experienced this behavior even though a DVD burner is installed on their system. In this event, follow the instructions below to force the Burn to DVD icon to appear. 1. Shut down Enterprise TV Link. 2. Navigate to the Application Data directory
3. Open the file Settings.xml in Notepad or an XML editor. 4. Locate the text "<Name>CheckDVDBurners</Name>". 5. Immediately following that text, find the text "<Value>1</Value>". 6. Change the 1 in that line to 2. 7. Save and close. 8. Restart Enterprise TV Link. The DVD Burn icon should now appear. Please note that users of version 5 of Enterprise TV Link will need to perform this procedure once for each user of the affected computer. In Enterprise TV Link 4, the procedure only needs to be performed once per computer. Please assist SnapStream in improving this function by informing SnapStream Enterprise Support of the make and model of your DVD burner. | |
