DESCRIPTION:
Some video cards are incompatible with Beyond TV's ViewScape interface (which uses 3d acceleration) and/or video playback (which uses either the overlay, or 3d acceleration). Beyond TV requires fully DirectX-9 compliant video cards to work at its optimum. In some cases, the following cards will not function at all with Beyond TV; in others, the interface and/or video playback must be rendered by the CPU because the graphics card's acceleration does not support the display methods Beyond TV uses.
If your video card is on this list, please check this Knowledge Base article for information on configuring Beyond TV to use software rendering, which may make it run acceptably on video cards that do not properly support DirectX 9.

- S3 ProSavage DDR
- S3 Savage IX8+
- Matrox Parhelia
- Matrox Millennium
- EPIA onboard video
- nVidia Riva TNT / TNT2 / TNT2 Pro
- nVidia Quadro series Note: This only applies to models that do not meet Beyond TV requirements (16 MB RAM, 3D Acceleration, DirectX 9.0 compatibility). Quadro cards released after 2006 may work with Beyond TV.
- Intel(R) 82845G/GL/GE/PE/GV Graphics Controller
Intel integrated graphics generally provide poor performance in the ViewScape interface and while playing back video. Updating the drivers solves the problem for many (but not all) Intel AGP's.
- Volari V3
Notes:
- The nVidia Riva TNT2 Model 64 and Model 64 Pro will work with Beyond TV.
- EPIA machines' onboard graphics, as well as the Intel integrated graphics devices such as the 82845G listed above, will provide poor quality playback due to device limitations.
