DESCRIPTION:

Use this document to discover whether or not your DirecTV satellite receiver is compatible with the Serial Cable tuning option. Serial Cable tuning is one of the methods by which Beyond TV changes channels on a set-top box in order to perform unattended recordings. It involves a cable connected on one end to your computer, and on the other to your set-top box's data port.

Both of the main cable types used for this purpose are available in the SnapStream Online Store (Sony Receivers and RCA Receivers).

Receivers with a (*) by them have been tested by SnapStream.
Receivers with a (V) by them have been verified by users in the SnapStream community.
