Solution

DESCRIPTION:

Beyond TV, and / or the Setup Wizard, will cause an "Unhandled ... exception" error and will exit, after installing .NET Studio 2005 beta, or any other software that also installs the .NET architecture version 2.

ARTICLE:

Exit Beyond TV and unZIP the dotnet2fix.zip (below) into your Beyond TV install directory.

Restart Beyond TV. It should now start without error.
