DESCRIPTION:
This article contains instructions on how to proceed when a correctly configured lineup has changed, and the channel additions / deletions / swaps are not properly represented either by SnapStream.Net or by the Program Guide in Beyond TV's graphical user interface.
NOTES:
- IMPORTANT NOTICE! Please read this article completely!
- If this is the first time configuring this lineup, please refer to this Knowledge Base article instead.
- If the lineup is correct, but simply contains duplicate channels (e.g. two channel 56's) or channels your lineup does not receive, please refer to this Knowledge Base article instead.
- Analog antenna lineups are presented "as-is" and cannot be modified. We suggest trying adjacent ZIP codes, creating a scanned lineup, or using XMLTV. More information on XMLTV and how to use it in conjunction with the XMLTV Importer can be found in our Community Articles section.
ARTICLE:
First, determine whether or not the changes have already been made but are not present in Beyond TV.
To do this, run the Beyond TV Lineup Wizard. Choose the proper options for your lineup, and when finished, check the lineup given by the Wizard. Do one of two things, as follows.
If the lineup given by the online Lineup Wizard is correct:
Run the Setup Wizard (START BUTTON --> ALL PROGRAMS --> SNAPSTREAM MEDIA --> BEYOND TV --> BEYOND TV SETUP WIZARD) and advance through it by making the correct selections and hitting the "Next" button until you reach the list of Video Sources. Choose "Edit an existing video source" and hit "Next." On the next screen, hit the "'Edit" button corresponding to the Video Source using the incorrect lineup. Proceed through its configuration by making the correct selections and hitting the "Next" button until you reach a screen asking you to select a lineup for that Video Source:

Click to enlarge "Lineup Selection Screen"
Select "Delete a Lineup" and hit "Next." Select the incorrect lineup on the next screen, and hit "Next" again. One of two things will happen then:
- The Setup Wizard will ask you for a ZIP / Postal code. If it does so, use this opportunity to re-create the same lineup that was just deleted..
- The Setup Wizard will return to the screen shown above. If it does so, choose "Create a new SnapStream.Net lineup" and hit Next. Use this opportunity to re-create the same lineup that was just deleted.
Once the lineup is created, it will be automatically associated with the Video Source that was originally being edited. After the "Testing" screen, you will be returned to a list of Video Sources. If other Video Sources use the same lineup you just deleted and re-created, edit them as well as above, selecting the newly created lineup this time instead of re-creating it. Finish the Setup Wizard, start Beyond TV, and the lineup will be correct.
If the Lineup given by the online Lineup Wizard is NOT correct:
Please report a discrepancy in an existing lineup. To do this, contact tech support by completing and submitting the form located here; if you were directed to this article by a member of tech support, simply reply. Include the following information:
- ZIP or postal code: The ZIP (United States) or postal (Canada) code in which you receive this lineup.
- Service Provider: The name of the lineup which most accurately describes yours, as it appears in the online Lineup Wizard, in the Setup Wizard, or in SnapStream.Net. Example: "Time Warner Houston Digital (non-rebuild)." (Note: This datum is unnecessary if reporting a discrepancy for an over-the-air digital (OTA HDTV) flineup.)
- Service Type: The type of lineup. Examples: "Antenna (Digital)," "Digital cable," "Analog cable," "Satellite."
- Your SnapStream.NET username, if not provided in the form
- List of the discrepancies: A complete list of the discrepancies between your actual lineup and the SnapStream.Net lineup, including call signs (e.g. "12 should be listed as KHJJ but is listed as KJHH instead" or "60 shows up as SCIFI but should be COMEDY). Please note that in the case of local channels, we will need the callsigns in the same format as the example. Alternately, you may provide a complete, correct list of your lineup along with a few example discrepancies in the same format as the example immediately above.
We will then take a look and if necessary notify our data provider.
