DVD playback does not work in Beyond Media due to install of Cyberlink decoder v6 by PowerDVD - SnapStream Knowledgebase
Solution
DESCRIPTION:
A user with PowerDVD 6 installed cannot play back DVD's. This problem occurs because of a conflict between the version 6 decoder installed by PowerDVD, and the version 5 decoder installed by Beyond Media.
ARTICLE:
To fix this problem, first shut down Beyond Media.
Then, open the file:
\documents and settings\all users\application data\snapstream\beyond media\BeyondMediaSettings.xml
in a text editor, such as Notepad. Make a backup copy of this file before committing any edits.
