H.264/ MPEG-4 videos will not play or displays a green screen in QuickTime, Realplayer or other video players - SnapStream Knowledgebase
Solution
DESCRIPTION:
When recordings that have been ShowSqueezed to H.264 are played back in third-party software, video does not appear, or appears garbled. Video plays back correctly in the Viewscape.
ARTICLE:
The SnapStream Viewscape interface supports a variety of flavors of H.264 encoding, not all of which are supported by QuickTime or other playback software. QuickTime only supports video encoded with Baseline and Main AVC profiles.
This option can be set in Settings=> Advanced Settings=>Video Qualities. Click Edit next to an H.264 quality to change its options, including its AVC profile.
