Scanning for QAM channels that are in the clear varies greatly from location to location and can change over time. Most cable providers today will at least push a standard and/or hi-def version of the major networks (e.g. ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX) as clear QAM. If you scan for channels in Beyond TV and you don't receive channels that you think you should get, try the TV tuner's native software and see if your intution is correct. Here is the list of tuners that Beyond TV supports for QAM and a link to there support page. Please download the TV tuner's native software or install it from the installation disk and test out the scan if it matches Beyond TV or not. If the manufactuer does not have software available to scan for QAM channels please contact the manufacturer's support department. Other items that may effect the ability for you to receive QAM channels are splitters, bad coaxial cables, a weak signal and possible over amplification.
